All On The Line Signs Letter Calling on More Accessible Elections in Colorado

Today, All On The Line Colorado joined a group of organizations in signing a letter [EMBED LINK] calling for improved Voter Service and Polling Center accessibility ahead of the 2020 general election in November. All On The Line Colorado State Director Olivia Mendoza said:

“All On The Line is proud to sign on to this forward-looking, common-sense set of recommendations that will ensure Coloradans are able to safely exercise their right to vote in the midst of a global pandemic. In order to ensure the 2020 elections happen as smoothly as possible, we have to begin implementing smart changes to policy now.

“Colorado continues to set the national standard for voting rights. Over the past few years, our state passed Amendments Y and Z in 2018 and recently ended prison gerrymandering. Even with these outstanding reforms, we should always look for new and innovative ways to push for a political system that welcomes the voice of every Coloradan. We look forward to working with our partners to ensure our voting process remains one of the country’s finest.”

Since its launch more than one year ago, All On The Line has been hard at work building a grassroots volunteer organization ahead of the 2021 redistricting process. All On The Line Colorado’s mission is to raise awareness about the harmful impact gerrymandering has on federal and state policymaking, encourage participation in opportunities that defend democratic ideals, and increase grassroots engagement in every step of the redistricting process.
